Yoga, Meditation & Spiritual Sessions

“Each soul is potentially divine. The goal is to manifest this divinity within by controlling nature, external and internal. Do this either by work or worship or psychic control or philosophy by one or more or all of these and before. This is the whole of religion” - Swami Vivekananda

The system of educating children has to be different. It has to be combined with certain practices which can remove their psychological blocks, which can give them the ability to focus on the theme of the subject they are studying. Several types of college based stress management and wellness programs are necessary for encouraging healthy coping strategies and resilience among students. Meditation and yoga can contribute directly to improve mental focus and concentration among students. Yoga and meditation can yield some progressive results that can be quite beneficial for the students as well as for other people in general.

IMRT Business School is intended to harness tremendous potential among students. It encourages focusing on what students want to learn, to broaden their horizons, and cultivate new understandings. The vision of the college is to train them to engage with the world as people who know their purpose and have the power to fulfill it. In yoga, this purpose is called dharma and the point of yoga is actually the same as that of college when it comes to fulfilling your dharma: the practice gives the tools to engage with the world with impact.

To encourage such wellness among students, IMRT inculcates meditation and yoga into everyday life on college campus. Such program is facilitated by the renowned ISHA Foundation, Brahma kumaris, Art of Living Foundation, Vivekanand Kendra Kanyakumari etc. Wellness programs are becoming increasingly important as students today face an overwhelming amount of pressure and stress at college level.
